When you do this front door locksets will come from the shaft. After doing this, you have to use a screwdriver to remove the cover plate. Once off you have to look at the outer edge of the cover plate for the opening which will allow you to insert the tip of a screwdriver. If you look closely and you discover that there is no opening, it is likely that it was in the bottom edge.
