How to Put a Sliding Barn Door Hardware Back On Track
Sliding barn door hardware – Sliding hardware doors are some of the most frequently used doors in homes and eventually they will derail and out of the rail. Replace the door in place is a simple procedure and can be completed in just minutes.
Remove the rail gate of the base on sliding barn door hardware, using a screwdriver and check his location with a piece of masking tape. If the port rail is installed on the carpet, mark the screw holes with masking tape to reattach the track with precision. Enter the hardware if possible and position the door near the center of the opening to replace the pulley back on the top rail of the door.
Tilt the bottom of the door about 15 cm out as you lift it up to fit the top rail. If you are replacing the outer door, let the inside in the closed position; if you are placing the inner door, both doors tilt outward to allow the inner door back to the top rail. Once the door is sufficiently bent outwards, the door rollers will “hook” on the rail edge and fit. Put the back door in the vertical position and test if it moves smoothly back and forth on the rail. Replace the bottom rail sliding barn door hardware back in place.
