Installation Sliding Door Hardware Kit
Installation Sliding Door Hardware Kit – Cabinet with sliding doors are ideal for long, shallow closets and small rooms where space is at a premium. Hardware must be removed before painting or masked in order to avoid ruining the roller mechanisms.
Measure the depth of the cabinet sliding door hardware kit header. Mark the center of the head on both ends of the opening with a pencil. Center of the track at each end ensures both cabinet doors will stay within the framed opening. Connect the markers at each end of the opening with the aid of a ruler and pencil. Mark the location for the floor rail, if necessary, with a plumb line. Hold the end of the string against the plumb line on the head. Wait to stop moving bob and mark the spot on the floor under her tip.
Connect the marks with a ruler and pencil in the same manner as the header sliding door hardware kit. Center the upper rail on the line on the head. Drilled holes are centered in the tracks, so that the line should be visible by them. Keep track in place and attach it to the top of the opening with the screws provided in the kit. Mount the floor rail if the same way. Hang the doors on the upper track. The rollers in the upper part of the doors must fall in hook-shaped channels of the upper track. There will be two channels on each track. Install the first door on the back channel. Install the second door to the front channel. Allow the guides for the lower channel, if necessary, in the correct position and rotate them. The lower guides should fit into the lower channel but left to prevent something from the floor bond.
